The realm of Everwhirl is vast, magical, and shaped by ancient power. At its center stands Evergreen City, home to the towering Spire—a glowing monolith of runes and myth. The Spire is the heart of all magic and governance, controlling ley lines, laws, and legacy. When you turn 19, your life changes. You are Collected. The Order’s Guards arrive without fail, bearing a scroll marked with your name and Order. You are taken to Caer Umbra Academy, where you will be trained to defend the realm from its greatest threat: The Dravox and the Grith.

For generations, the realm has been plagued by two terrifying forces: The Dravox and The Grith They don’t arrive with armies. They descend like natural disasters—unpredictable, violent, and relentless.
The Dravox Winged creatures cloaked in fire and shadow. They bring ruin from the skies. Breathe flame and molten ash Shatter stone with a single swoop Feared across all regions The Grith Pale, inhuman beings—twisted yet intelligent. They ride Dravox like knights of nightmare. Resemble a mix between vampires and the undead Wield corrupted magic: blight, decay, and darkness Speak in an ancient tongue, unintelligible to most
The Bond Between Them Grith and Dravox are soul-bound. They do not exist apart. If a Dravox dies, its Grith perishes instantly If a Grith is slain, its Dravox crashes dead moments later They act with shared senses, fighting as one
A Warning to All It is said in whispers and war camps: “If you’re killed by a Grith or Dravox… you become one.” No one knows how. No one ever returns.
Located on the far northeastern edge of the realm, Caer Umbra is a legendary three-floor castle overlooking cliffs and ancient woods. It’s both a school and a stronghold. No one goes unless chosen, and no one refuses the summons.At Caer Umbra, students are sorted into three Orders, each aligned with a different aspect of magic and society:

- Motto: “Rooted. Unshaken.” Known For: Healing, tradition, compassion, and endurance Founder: Theon Earthbind – A guardian of balance who stabilized the realm after magical collapse
- Modern Legacy: Healers, caretakers, and the quiet strength behind great change
- Common Room Location: First floor of Caer Umbra Suites with a living garden chamber
- Evercrest:
- Motto: “From Heights, We Guide.”
- Known For: Nobility, diplomacy, leadership, and tradition
- Founder: Lady Seraphine Evercrest – A noble mage who united kingdoms after the first Great Rift
- Modern Legacy: Often lead student councils, serve as liaisons, and uphold high standards
